The M22 brand has created a strong, local following for over a decade, and that brand loyalty extends to our popular flagship event, the M22 Challenge. Voted the Best Endurance Event in Northern Michigan by Traverse the Magazine, the M22 Challenge has become the “must do” summer event. With a high participant number (900) selling out in under 10 minutes, the popular run-bike-paddle race boasts an enormous crowd annually. Held in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park (Good Morning America’s “Most Beautiful Place in America”), the event draws both athletes and beginners from around the world. Combined with a family-friendly atmosphere, it provides a wide range of exposure to a mid-to-high income audience who are community-minded, active, and motivated.

As a zero-waste event, the Challenge is a way for us (and you!) to give back to our community and build environmental awareness. For over a decade, we’ve partnered with the Leelanau Conservancy, donating a percentage of every sale in a joint effort to preserve our region. The Challenge gives us an opportunity to share this important cause and creates an opportunity to align your brand with these important values.
